The board approved the distribution of excess capital totaling $3,910,000 which is being shared among all members in the form of premium credits and dividends.

New Year Outlook

As we start New Year, we often reflect back on significant events of the prior period and plan changes to make during the year to come.

APEI’s pinnacle claim event in 2015 was the November 3rd fire at the LKSD Kuskokwim Learning Academy and Kilbuck school in Bethel.  This was the most significant property loss for the APEI pool program in the company’s history, and this incident exemplifies the benefit of being an active APEI member.

Self-inspections are a great way to identify potential hazards in the workplace. These inspections allow you to find potential hazards and fix them before an injury or loss occurs.
